On Monday, October 7th, Squash Zone took on a touring team from the British Army. The touring team made-up of soldiers from the REME division (Royal Mechanical Electrical Engineering) of the British Army team were in the Bay Area for ten days where they played matches against five local Squash clubs. Squash Zone was their last opponent before heading back across the Atlantic to the UK.The select team from Squash Zone ran out convincing winners in the ten-a-side match, but there were some close games. Notably, SZ's Eli Abbe who won in five games after being two games to one down. And Kevin Sacherman who also won in five games. We look forward to hosting the REME British Army team again should they revisit the Bay Area.
